“While composing Whimsical Shimmer, my mind drifted back to a quiet memory from my childhood—watching sunlight sparkle over the clear water of a mountain stream in Kobe. There was an effortless, innocent joy in the way the light danced across the moving water, shimmering without haste or purpose, simply glowing in the quiet of the mountains.
The composition unfolds with a lighthearted cadence, balancing playful piano phrases with understated ambient resonance. Each phrase was written to feel weightless and unhurried, giving space for the imagination to wander freely without tension or haste.
