Artist's Note: The Art of Letting Go
"In 'A Quiet Dissolve,' I wanted to capture the beauty of transience. The music unfolds like a quiet breath—natural, unhurried, and eventually fading into the surrounding space. I chose to blend the warmth of woodwinds with flowing string layers to create a sense of organic movement. A brief piano motif emerges quietly throughout the piece, not to lead, but to briefly touch the surface before dissolving back into the stillness. For me, this work is about the grace found in the end of a note, and the peace that follows in the silence."
